Sugar Free Apple and Cinnamon Porridge- Delicious & Healthy Winter Breakfast


This porridge is so easy to make and so yummy. And it takes hardly anytime at all so you can make it before work!

Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup of gluten free quick oats
  • 1 cup of water
  • Pinch of salt
  • Half a chopped up green apple
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon
  • Sprinkle of nutmeg
  • Honey, to taste
  • Almond milk
Method: 

Put the oats, 3/4 cup of the water, salt and apple in a saucepan on the stove. Bring to the boil and then simmer gently for 5-7 minutes, if it's looking a bit dry add the rest of the water. Take off the stove and serve. The apple should only be slightly soft, I like it to be a bit crunchy still!

Stir in the honey, sprinkle over the spices and add the almond milk. Enjoy!
